Do I need documentation to dispute a transaction?

It's not required that you provide documentation to start a dispute claim. However, it can give you the added benefit of supporting your claim with evidence. If you have any or all the following documents, they can help our investigation into the issue. 

  • For a merchandise dispute:
    • Receipt
    • Order or tracking confirmation
    • Photo of the item received
    • Proof of return 
  • For a service dispute:
    • Service agreement or contract
    • Cancellation confirmation
    • Communications with the business/merchant
    • Proof the service was not received
