What if I'm dissatisfied with goods or services I paid for using my card?

If you're not happy with goods or services you paid for using your debit or credit card, you do have options.

It’s a good idea to try to resolve the issue with the merchant/business if you can. If that doesn’t work, you can open a dispute claim with us. The process and protections differ slightly depending on the card type and the situation.

Common reasons to dispute a charge are:

  • The goods/services were not delivered.
  • They were defective, damaged, or not as described.
  • The goods/services were of poor quality.
  • You were charged incorrectly or without authorization.
  • You tried to resolve the issue with the merchant but were unsuccessful.
