How to create and manage custom earnings using U.S. Bank payroll. 

Add custom earnings to include extra wages unique to your business, like mileage or sales. Once you add a custom earning, it shows up as a new category on your payroll. You can update or manage your custom earnings anytime. 

How to create and manage a custom earning for payroll in online banking

  1. From the upper right select Business tools and then Payroll.
  2. Within the Payroll dashboard select the three dots to the right and choose Create custom earnings.
  3. To add a custom earning.
    1. Select Add custom earning.
    2. Enter the name of the custom earning and choose Save
    3. Repeat these steps to add other custom earnings.
  4. To rename a custom earning.
    1. Select the three dots to the right of the name.
    2. Choose Rename, then make your updates and select Save
  5. To delete a custom earning.
    1. Select the three dots to the right of the name.
    2. Choose Deactivate and select Yes, deactivate
  6. To reactivate a custom earning.
    1. Select the three dots to the right of the name.
    2. Choose Reactivate and select Yes, reactivate
