SPEAKER: Your US Bank auto lease is about three months from maturity. Let's take some time to walk through key information to prepare for a successful end to your lease. Here are things to know before the end of your lease.

If you are choosing to return your vehicle, we recommend completing a free pre-return inspection as it allows you to make any necessary repairs before the end of your lease. Get an early start. Call us to schedule your inspection today.

Once the inspection is complete, call the dealer to arrange the return. Make sure you call us to report that the return has been scheduled. When returning, be sure to submit your odometer statement and remove all personal items and license plates.

Text: Remove your license plate if state guidelines require.
Note: No one at the return location is authorized by us to conduct an inspection to determine excess wear and use under your lease. No statement, verbal or written made by anyone at the return location with regard to the condition of the vehicle will be binding on U.S. Bank or may be relied upon for any purpose.

Is your lease enrolled in autopay? Log in to US Bank Mobile or online banking to cancel prior to your end of lease date. Please note that it takes up to three business days to cancel any scheduled payments. If you forget to cancel your recurring monthly automatic payments, that's OK. We will do that for you once the vehicle has been successfully returned.

A final statement will be mailed to you after the successful return of the vehicle.
