How to order foreign currency online

You can order your currency via the mobile app or online banking. Exchange rates are updated daily and displayed at the time of order.

Order via the U.S. Bank Mobile App:

  1. Download the app if you haven’t already and log in to your account.
  2. Select Deposit/savings account for a detailed view.
  3. Select Account options.
  4. Select Order foreign currency and follow the prompts.

Order via U.S. Bank Online Banking:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Select My accounts, then Manage accounts.
  3. Select Order foreign currency and follow the prompts.

You can also visit a branch to order your foreign currency.

How to pick up your order

  • For most currencies, place your order by 2 p.m. and it will be delivered to the eligible U.S. Bank branch of your choice the next business day. If you place your order after 2 p.m., it will be available in two business days. Most orders can be expedited for an additional fee.
  • A branch associate will contact you when your order is ready via the phone number you provided when you placed your order. 
  • Bring a valid picture ID to the branch, such as a driver’s license or passport. 
  • For your security, only the person who placed the order may pick it up.
