Anyone can send a wire transfer by appearing in person to a U.S. Bank branch. To send a wire online or through the U.S. Bank app, you must have been a customer for six months and you must have an eligible customer account. Eligible accounts include those you deposit funds directly into, like checking, savings and money market accounts.
