FDIC-Insured - Backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government
Automated clearing house (ACH) payments use an electronic system that lets banks in the United States transfer money to each other. ACH payments can be made to or from your account.
Statements
When you see ACH on your statements or transaction history, it was made using your account and routing number. An example is a direct deposit setup with your employer.
Bills
When reviewing a bill, ACH means you can pay your bill electronically with your account and routing number. This can be called eChecks, EFT, or autopay.
