If you currently have a stop payment on your account for a check or ACH transaction, it'll remain in effect as your accounts convert to U.S. Bank for the duration stated:
To cancel a stop payment, you can log into your account via the U.S. Bank Mobile App or online banking, at your local U.S. Bank branch, or by calling 24-hour banking at 800-USBANKS (872-2657).
If you have a stop payment on your Union Bank Debit Card, it will not be transferred to U.S. Bank. After receiving your new U.S. Bank Debit Card, please contact U.S. Bank to re-establish any stop payments that were set up with your Union Bank Debit Card.
You will be able to use your current Union Bank Debit and/or ATM Card – along with your existing Personal Identification Number (PIN) – through July 31, 2023, or whenever you choose to activate your new card.
Your Union Bank Debit and/or ATM Card will stop working on August 1, 2023, or when you activate your new U.S. Bank Debit and/or ATM Card, whichever comes first.
You’ll receive a new U.S. Bank Debit and/or ATM Card by July 15, 2023. If you have not received your new card by July 15, 2023, call 24-Hour banking at 800-USBANKS (872-2657).

No. Your PIN will not change. You will be able to use your existing PIN with your new U.S. Bank Debit and/or ATM Card.
Yes. While we expect that most automatic payments that were set up with your Union Bank Debit Card will automatically be updated with your new U.S. Bank Debit Card information (card number, expiration date and the 3-digit security code displayed on the back of your card) we recommend that you verify that all of your automatic payments were updated accordingly. Common automatic payments include utility companies and cell phone services.
No. After you receive your new U.S. Bank Debit Card, you will need to add it to your mobile wallet.
Please note your old Union Bank Debit Card will no longer work in your mobile wallet either after you activate your new U.S. Bank Debit Card or on August 1, 2023, whichever comes first.
Yes. You may continue to use your existing Union Bank checks and deposit slips until your supply runs out. You will be sent a letter in May 2023 with your new account number and instructions on how to order new U.S. Bank checks when you’re ready.
This does not apply to HELOC checks.
