With external transfer you can transfer money to or from your account with another bank. When this service, please keep in mind you'll need to be a signer on both accounts. Transfer requests submitted on weekends, holidays, or after cutoff time, will be processed on the next business day. 

The delivery speed will vary, depending on the receiving bank.

• Most transfers are completed within one to three business days.
• Some banks allow instant transfers, which are completed in minutes.
• Transfers are automatically sent by the fastest delivery method available.

To transfer money using online banking

1. Select Transfer & pay and choose Transfers.
2. Choose which account to transfer funds from and which account to send them to, then select Continue.
3. Complete the remainder of the form, then select Continue. 
   • Required: Enter the amount to transfer.
   • Optional:
     • Mark the checkbox for Repeat this transfer.
     • Change the date.
     • Add a memo.
4. Review the information. If correct, select Send transfer.

To transfer money using the U.S. Bank Mobile App

1. Select Transfer & pay then choose Send transfer.
2. Choose the account to transfer funds from and select Continue.
3. Select the account to transfer funds to and select Continue.
4. Complete the remainder of the form, then select Continue.
   • Required: Enter the amount to transfer.
   • Optional:
     • Change the date.
     • Add a memo.
5. Review the information. If correct, select Send transfer.
