We offer a few ways to activate your debit card. Choose whichever way works best for you. 

• Log into online banking or the U.S. Bank Mobile App.
• Call 800-236-3838 and use our automated phone system.
• Make a deposit or withdrawal at any U.S. Bank ATM.

To activate your debit card using online banking

1. Choose Accounts from the top of the dashboard and select Manage cards. 
2. Select the card that needs to be activated, then select Activate card
3. Enter the card information and select Activate card once more to complete the process.

To activate your debit card using the U.S. Bank Mobile App 

1. Open the main menu and select Manage cards.
2. Choose the card that needs to be activated, then select Activate card. A pop-up window will appear asking you if the physical card was received.
   • Select Activate if the debit card is in your possession, then proceed to the next step.
   • Choose Not now if you haven’t received it. No further action is needed.
3. Enter the card information and select Activate to complete the process.

• If you have not received the physical card, please do not activate it. This will help protect you from any unauthorized activity if someone else tries to use it.
• You can use your virtual card even though the physical card is not activated.
