What you need
Before you start, make sure:
- The U.S. Bank Mobile App is installed, and Siri is turned on for your device
- Your device supports the required iOS version
Set up Siri balance requests
- Open the U.S. Bank Mobile App.
- Sign in and select the Menu icon.
- Select the gear icon (Settings) then Login preferences.
- Turn on Allow Siri Balance Request.
- If prompted to use U.S. Bank with Siri, select OK.
Check your balance with Siri
- Activate Siri:
- Say “Hey Siri”, or press and hold the Home button.
- Ask for your balance by account type or nickname.

- Example: “What’s my U.S. Bank checking balance?”
- If you use more than one bank app, be sure to say “U.S. Bank” in your request.
- If more than one account matches, select the account you want from the list.
What to expect
- Your balance will appear on the screen. Siri will not read it out loud.
- The balance shown matches what you see in the app:
- Available balance for checking and savings accounts
- Balance owed for credit cards
If you don’t see the Siri option
- Make sure Siri is enabled in your device settings.
- Confirm your device is running a supported iOS version.
- Update the U.S. Bank Mobile App to the latest version.
