How do I remove my information from your marketing lists?

You can request to be removed from our marketing lists whenever it’s convenient for you. This is also known as exercising your privacy choice.

If you are an existing U.S. Bank customer that wants to control your data sharing & privacy

Marketing campaigns may be in process at the time of your opt-out request. We will remove your information from our lists; however, telemarketing may occur up to 30 days after opting out and other marketing materials may take up to 10 weeks to stop. Please be aware, this applies to general consumer services*.

Log in at usbank.com

  1. From your dashboard, select Profile & settings.
  2. Choose Data sharing & privacy
  3. Select any of the following options: 
    • Data access reports - View: you can view data shared with third-party apps and companies.
    • My Controls - Manage: track the apps and companies with access to your U.S. Bank account data.
    • Personal information - Review: request a copy of the personal info U.S. Bank and our affiliates have on file for you.

  1. Navigate to our U.S. Bank Consumer Privacy Page.
  2. Complete the Account owner field(s).
    • Account owner #1 is required; however, Account owner #2 is optional.
    • For accounts with a secondary owner, provide that person's information as well.
  3. Enter your street address or the address printed on marketing materials, including the city, state, and ZIP code.
  4. If desired, provide your phone number.
  5. Choose your privacy options regarding who we share your information with and whether you want us to send you marketing solicitations. By marking the check box(es), you're asking us NOT to share your information and/or NOT to solicit you. 
  6. When ready, select Submit

If you are not an existing U.S. Bank customer and you want to stop receiving solicitations from U.S. Bank

Marketing campaigns may be in process at the time of opt-out from request. Telemarketing may occur up to 31 days after opting out and other marketing materials may take up to 12 weeks to stop.

To stop telemarketing

Add your home or mobile phone number to the National Do Not Call Registry by visiting donotcall.gov and provide the requested information.
