Is the interest from my ReliaCard® reported to the IRS?
If you’ve earned less than $10 in interest during the calendar year, it won’t be reported. If you’ve earned $10 or more, it will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
In the event you’ve earned more than $10 in interest, a 1099-INT form is sent. The form will state the exact amount of interest income you earned during the calendar year.
If you didn’t earn enough interest to report to the IRS, a 1099-INT form isn’t provided because there won’t be one available.
