How do I pay the central billing account on my business credit card?

If you have a central billing account, ensure you've logged in using your business username to pay it.

To pay the central billing account using online banking

  1. Select Transfer & pay, then choose Pay U.S. Bank accounts.
  2. Locate the central bill account and complete the payment information.
    1. Decide how much  to pay.
      1. Select the payment amount field.
      2. Choose the amount.
    2. Optional: The payment date is always scheduled for “Today”. If you want it paid on a future date, use the calendar icon to choose a different date.
    3. Choose the account to pay from.
      1. In the Pay from field, use the drop-down menu to choose the account.
      2. Optional: If there’s an external bank account you’d like to use and it’s not listed, select Manage external accounts to add it.

  3. Select Review & pay.
  4. Review the payment details. If correct, select Pay.

To pay the central billing account using the U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. Select Transfer & pay, then choose Pay U.S. Bank accounts.
  2. Select the central bill account. Then complete the payment information.
    1. Decide how much to pay.
      1. Select the chevron to the right of Please choose an amount.
      2. Choose the amount.
      3. Select Save.
    2. Optional: The payment date is always scheduled for “Today”.
      1. If you want it paid on a future date, select the chevron to the right of Deliver payment by Today.
      2. Choose the date you’d like it paid.
      3. Select Save.
    3. Choose the account to pay from.
      1. Select the chevron to the right of Pay from.
      2. Optional: If there’s an external bank account you’d like to use and it’s not listed, select Manage external accounts to add it.

      3. Select Save.
  3. Select Pay now.
  4. Review the payment details. If correct, select Pay, then Pay once more to confirm it.

Central billing refers to a billing type for a business credit card. It’s an account that’s linked to all cards issued and transactions roll over to one account.

  • Cards can be issued to owners, joint owners, authorized representatives, and employees.
  • A monthly statement is issued from this centrally billed account , so the business only needs to make one payment.
