How do I find my external account transfer limits?

Knowing your limits lets you know how much can be sent and how much has already been sent. To see your external account transfer limits, you'll need to start the process of transferring funds.

To find your external account transfer limits using online banking and the U.S. Bank Mobile App

Note, we're currently enhancing our transfer experience. Your options may vary depending on your account type. Please follow the steps that best apply to you.

  1. New experience: Select Transfer & pay from your dashboard and then choose Transfers.
  2. Current experience: Select Transfer & pay from your dashboard. Choose External transfers & wires and select External Transfer.
  3. Choose the account you'd like the funds taken from, select the account you'd like the money transferred to, and select Continue.
  4. Listed under the amount to send, select More about transfer limits. This will show all incoming and outgoing transfer limits*. 

*Limits cannot be changed upon request. Limits reset each business day at 12 a.m. (midnight) CT. Business days are Monday through Friday except weekends and federal holidays.
